Introducing another stunning creation from Patrick James Eggle, legendary UK guitar luthier. This is the first custom order for Boxcar Guitars, and we are proud to be the exclusive North American dealer for these fine instruments.

The '96 Ninety Six model is based around the classic Strat-type double cutaway design. This particular guitar uses a rare neck tonewood called 'Bog Oak' which has the feel and resonance of a solid Rosewood neck, but with much less weight. Patrick is only producing approximately 40 guitars a year presently and we are literally blown away with the quality and craftsmanship of each instrument. The tone and playability is off the charts!
